By confirmation of your booking you agree to all the terms and conditions as follows: SEIT Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodation and transport in any way necessary due to road and weather conditions, cultural reasons, mechanical defects or any changes in operational conditions. Any personal expenses incurred by clients as a result of delays or alterations to any tour are the responsibility of the client. SEIT Tours provides experiences by a third party and takes no responsibility for loss, damage or injury as the result of negligence from this third party. Keep your eyes peeled on the trails... you might just spot the perentie.

The perentie, Australia’s largest monitor lizard, is a master of camouflage. Often seen basking on sun-warmed rocks or slipping into the shadows, this incredible reptile can grow up to 2.5 metres long and is perfectly adapted to the harsh conditions of the Red Centre.

Maku, pronounced mah-koo, translates to edible grubs, the most famous of which is the witchetty grub. Found primarily in the roots of the witchetty bush – hence the name. Witchetty grubs have been an important source of protein for the Aṉangu for thousands of years.

The Hairy Mulla Mulla (Ptilotus helipteroides) is just one of the wildflowers you’ll find in the Red Centre. Its soft pink to purple flowers stand out from the ochre landscape. Well adapted to low rainfall, its hairy flower heads help reduce water loss. This hardy plant also supports local wildlife and plays an important role in the ecosystem.

When rain falls over the Red Centre, Uluṟu transforms. The rich red rock darkens to deep browns and purples, and waterfalls cascade down its ancient surface. A rare and humbling sight.
