SEIT, the local small group touring specialists, have today announced the rollout of a brand refresh along with the launch of two new Daintree tours, marking the company’s expansion beyond the Red Centre and into Tropical North Queensland.
The SEIT brand is known for its captivating and intimate experiences which immerse travellers in hyper-local culture and history. SEIT’s interactive small group tours share local stories that heighten the travel experience, fostering a connection between traveller and their chosen destination. With rich and authentic experiences within the Daintree Rainforest and the Tablelands Region, the two new tours and brand development work, implemented by the inhouse design team, was a natural expansion of the already exceptional SEIT touring offering and positioning.
As part of the brand refresh, a new logo and visual identity was created to support and enhance the SEIT brand as it branches out to new destinations, elevating the current logo design whilst ensuring it remains true to its roots as a company. The logo design continues to honour the SEIT Guides and their importance to the business, the sun in the backdrop, representing the history and the Australian heartland (Red Centre), where the SEIT brand and family business was born.
CEO, Ben Hall, said “The SEIT brand refresh reinforces and further articulates the already outstanding experiences we offer, our local small group tours allow travellers to embrace the art of doing, feeling fully immersed and energised via our truly individual guides. Our guides are the beating heart of our business, encompassing our brand ethos, sharing stories through hands-on experiences to travellers looking to feel truly connected to a place. We are also so excited to be unveiling two new SEIT tours to the Daintree, so that travellers can now have the SEIT experience in other unique destinations.”
The brand refresh marks the launch of two new Daintree tours for SEIT. The full-day small group Daintree Dreaming – Aboriginal Art & Culture and Daintree Dreaming – Traditional Aboriginal Fishing tours, offer travellers a glimpse into the unique lives of the Kuku Yalanji people, the Indigenous people of Mossman country. Each provides the opportunity to explore the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest on a journey, discovering Ngadiku (Nar-di-gul) the stories and legends from a long time ago, as well as how bush soaps are made, how to identify bush-tucker and how native plants have been traditionally used, skills dating more than 50,000 years. Travellers will uncover art and culture with a visit to the Yiki people’s protected Janbal Aboriginal Art Gallery creating their own story within a unique piece of artwork, or be able to grab a spear hunting for mud crabs and foraging for periwinkles at the Kuku Yalanji traditional fishing grounds on Cooya Beach, as part of the Traditional Aboriginal Fishing tour.
