The perentie, Australia’s largest monitor lizard, is a master of camouflage. Often seen basking on sun-warmed rocks or slipping into the shadows, this incredible reptile can grow up to 2.5 metres long and is perfectly adapted to the harsh conditions of the Red Centre.
