These lizards can grow up to 28cm in length and are covered in a stunning pattern that acts as camouflage, helping them to blend in with the surrounding environment to hide from curious predators.

"A magical morning seeing the sunrise over Uluru and our guide Pete was excellent!! Loved having a small group that we could connect with and the time taken by the guide to give us so much invaluable information and storytelling along the way. Breakfast at the base of Uluru was such a cool thing to do and they were great at catering to my gluten intolerance. Had lovely muesli and a selection of snacks. A must do experience!"

But another geological marvel, Mount Conner, stands proudly nearby, often mistaken for its famous neighbours. Known as "Fool-uru" due to often being mistaken for its famous neighbour, Mount Conner is a striking mesa that offers a unique blend of geological and local historical significance.
